This blog has been created by and for the Kinast Family. As we begin to grow and branch out, we thought it might be fun to create a place where we could learn and share about one another. In this blog, you will hear stories about funny situations we have been in, current status on family, things that have helped us to grow as people and other positive impacts that we have each experienced in our lives. So, sit back, take a few moments to relax, and learn about those you love who will always love and support you in your life...

Catching Up

That is what it feels like we are doing lately! Here are the highlights and pictures!
We survived dance recital (Dave included)! Thanks to those who made the effort to come!

Aunt Mary and Uncle Kurtis sent flowers.

Adelynn was backstage during the first act, but the girls enjoyed sharing a chair and watching the second act together. Yes we are on the front row!
We returned from our vacation to Springfield last week. We had an ear infection and a sinus infection amongst other activities in life, but these girls are rock stars and we are recovered.

The girls did a good job traveling - which was a new experience for us. Here’s Adelynn watching Frozen with her headphones on.

The Ranch had so many things to do - including the trampoline and paddle boat.
We went to the Springfield Zoo one day.

Dave and I had been resting on the couch together when we got a snuggly visitor Smile

They LOVED fishing together! Dave said it was his favorite part. Adelynn said her favorite part was staying in a new place, but I would guess fishing with Daddy was right up there! She even caught a fish!

Story time with Aunt Mary, Mini Mary and Uncle Dan.
Since we are home, we started tball! This age is pretty comical. Adelynn plays every Tuesday at 5:30 at Lionette. Her last game is July 8. They last about 45 minutes since they only do 3 innings. The snack afterword is obviously the most exciting part. It even surpasses getting to use a pink bat!

I’ve started an encouraging group for young moms at church called GLOW. We are bringing in moms from the community and it’s been amazing! We were at the water park this morning and both of my girls are currently napping. Adelynn was supposed to be having quiet time but I went to check on her and she had laid herself down and tucked herself in. I’d say it’s been successful for the kids too – and the moms benefit, even post-GLOW Smile
Dave gets home tonight from a short work stint in Manhattan. We haven’t really been back since we moved and we miss that food! They have a lot of great restaurants. I’ve been living vicariously through him since he’s been texting me every meal he has. He’s bringing me a Caribou chai tonight, so I’m looking forward to that Smile Ava loves Caribou Coffee as much as I do! She kept trying to steal Dave’s Caribou Coffee drink while grocery shopping in Springfield. She succeeded but I don’t think she got any liquid.

The library had their Summer Celebration on Friday. We signed up for the Summer Reading Program and we have almost completed it! We love books at our house… We also sampled some of the Cosmosphere’s ice cream. Yum.

Adelynn’s most important thing in life right now is her roly poly collection. When we went to Tanganyika, she rode in the stroller so she could hang on to her lone roly poly.

We both enjoyed the lemurs. That’s always my favorite part!

We have been spending a lot of time outside since the weather has been so beautiful!

The sunglasses always go straight on the head.
