Tolleson Update

The 100 degree weather definitely found its way to Austin. It may have been a little later than usual, but it's been a hot August, September and first of October. We finally saw a cold front this Friday and with it fall like temperatures!

Here are a few pictures from the Tollesons since we last posted. 
 
October 5 was the Chalk Walk Festival and the orchestra provided a little live music.

The NJHS students helped sort clothes, stock shelves, and hand out food at the Round Rock Area Serving Center.

In thinning out the broccoli plants, I had microgreens! We garnished our tacos with them.

James has been running 5Ks to help keep him motivated to work out in the mornings. He recently placed 3rd!

The Texas Women's Volleyball games are a lot of fun to attend.

A hidden gem just outside of Austin is Krause Springs, a spring fed swimming hole.

Football season is back and construction has begun to fill in the south endzone. We're going to lose the beautiful view of downtown, but gain more seats for fans.

A previous bond in RRISD provided each of the fine arts disciplines with a cart of 32 iPads as well as an Apple TV. Pretty cool!
