When last we posted it was June. The hot, hot summer has gone and fall weather is inbound! :) This makes Sarah very, very happy. Fall is a great time to be outdoors.
Olivia turned 10 months old last week. We are fairly certain she will be walking in the next few weeks. YIKES! It is amazing how much she has learned in the past few months--crawling, clapping, feeding herself, looking at books, "dancing", signing "more"...the list is endless. Two of last Tuesday's accomplishments: 1-figuring out how to climb into Alex's carseat, 2-figuring out how to push the bath drain in to empty the tub. Olivia and Brisco are beginning to have a fun relationship. Brisco will entertain her and try to engage her to play with him by squeaking his toy. Olivia will encourage him to play with her by offering him his toy. Olivia looks for Brisco and says "da", which probably means "dog" or Brisco.
Sarah continues to watch Alexander 2 days a week, keeps up with the house chores, and tries to avoid the ironing. She presented on infant/toddler feeding in August for Rainbows and decided to provide some consult services for feeding to Rainbows families. The goal is 6-8 hours a week, so far it has been less which is fine. Sarah continues to work one Saturday a month for ViaChristi Rehab and still enjoys it! In between, she teaches the 2&3 year old Sunday School class, Women's Bible study, and a Praise Box class for G-Force.
Dan has had the itch to play live music more frequently than Threads has allowed and found a band called Bayless. He has already performed 3 times with them! Dan still plays on Sunday mornings and has added occasional electric guitar to his repertoire. His mobile apps are up and running for KWCH and he continues to make revisions to the websites. :) Dan's current house project is our backyard lawn.

Sounds like you all have a lot going on, but a certain routine down too. How fun to get to spend so much time with Olivia and to catch all of the little growths that she does!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it is fall myself. Enjoy all of Olivia's milestones. She is a cutie.
